The day started as any event held/organized by Camanava Pack. It was hot, it was hectic, it was exhilarating.

I love events like these because it gives me a chance to meet like minded individuals... Dog/Cat people. And boy, they are my favorite kind. There is so much positive energy from people who share the things I love. Animals, laughter and helping those who are in need.

So there I was manning the registration booth, making sure the stage is all set up, picking at all the nitty gritty of the event and meeting all these amazing people. Registrants, contestants, people wanting to know about the event and what we offer, I was happy to answer all their query. Nothing can quench my enthusiasm for events like these, not even the little mishaps that comes with every event. Before I knew it, program is about to start.

It started off with a little background on how Pagamutang Panghayop started which was introduced by Doc Don Velasquez. It was followed by Camanava Pack President and Founder Ivan Reccion who spoke about our group and its officers and members. The Savers and Lady Savers of DLSAU talked about world Animal Day.

Camanava Pack Vice President and Professional K9 Instructor Dan Paul Gozon also showcased Bomb Sniffing and Protection Demonstration with his trusted Belgian Malinois Moja assisted as well by Kazami Flores.

A pet blessing was officiated by Pastor Aurora Dayao and we had fun by giving away prizes for games and raffle was also drawn.

Nothing makes my heart melt more by announcing the winners of the Most Inspiring Dog Story. It was my baby that was given to me as a project by Pres Ivan and Doc Don. Truly all entries are winners for me and more than a few eyes shed tears for the videos that was shown of truly amazing dogs and human duo.

I cannot deny though that the most awaited portion of the night is the Canine Universe 2016 and trust me... They are truly a vision to behold. This is not your usual dog fashion show as each contestant gave a Witty Kasabihan and answered Q & A Questions.

There was so much fun to be had and I cannot wait to post the pictures and show them all to you.
